A Chartered Quantity Surveyor with a Masters degree in Construction
Law and Arbitration (with Merit) and the Society of Contrutions
Arbitrator's dissertation prize winner. Andrew is a CIArb Accredited
Mediator and member of the Association of Northern Mediators.
Andrew is a RICS, CIC and CIArb Panel Adjudicator, has a CIOB
Accreditation in Adjudication and is a member of the new AICA
Adjudication panel.
Andrew has over 20 years experience in the construction industry
having been employed in senior positions as a quantity surveyor
in contracting and private quantity surveying practices in Yorkshire,
London and Australia. He is a founder and partner of Constriction
Contract Solutions, a private practice specialising in dispute
resolution, the preparation of claims and forensic quantity
surveying in the construction, water and process engineering
industries. He has been appointed as an Expert and a consultant
in disputes referred to Arbitration, Expert Determination, Mediation
and Litigation regarding non-payment, valuation of variations,
extensions of time and loss and expense concerning domestic,
commercial, industrial, process enginnering and nuclear sites.
He has acted as the adjucator on over 70 Construction Adjudications
dealing with disputes under a host of standard and bespoke forms
of contract.
