A Mediator (CEDR, CIArb, CIOB, Law Society, Court of Appeal, NMH) Adjudicator (TeCSA & CEDR) and Conciliator with www.ccgroup.org.uk and Federation of Master Builders.

Anthony is primarily an engineering and construction specialist, having conducted over 200 mediations including disputes involving: Agriculture and agro-chemical; breach of contract; construction and engineering; corporate recovery; professional and business partnerships; employment; landlord, tenant and property; franchise and commercial agency; defamation; patents and intellectual property. He represents mediation on the Law Society Dispute Resolution Section Committee, and sits on the DCA Better Dispute Resolution Advisory Group. He is particularly involved in developing court mediation schemes at varying levels (to include both the Court of Appeal and National Mediation Helpline schemes). As an Arbitrator and Assessor he particularly specialises in professional, partnership and commercial disputes.

Anthony is a member of the Law Society's Dispute Resolution and ADR committees in London, the Technology amd Construction Solicitors Association (TeCSA), Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, the Adjudication Society and the International Bar Association and Chairman of the Association of Northern Mediators. Anthony is a visiting Fellow on the M.Sc. Construction Law and Dispute Resolution course at Leeds Metropolitan University, teaching primarily on the Adjudication and ADR modules. He has published articles in Arbitration Journal, ADR Journal, Solicitors Journal on such subjects as comparisons of arbitration and adjudication, mediation practice and court schemes.

On a personal level, Anthony is panel member of West Yorkshire Prince's Trust, trustee of the North Yorkshire Music Therapy Trust, member of numerous environmental pressure groups, very part time farmer and member of the NFU.
